This is my first pullover/tunic. For this pattern I made view D in a size 20. The fabric is a cotton batik for both the main fabric and the contrast fabric. Overall I am very pleased with the results. The pattern directions were easy to follow given the fact that I had other sewing books that gave directions to such things as gathering. I only have two concerns with the finished tunic. First, because I do not yet know how to alter a pattern to get a good fit the neckline gaps a bit in the front and the back. My breast size is larger than my shoulder size. Not knowing what to do I choose the size appropriate for my breast which made the neckline gap both in the front and the back. However, it is not so bad that I wouldn't be comfortable wearing the tunic in public. Second, I wish I had used the main fabric for the entire tunic instead of including a contrast fabric. I would like to try this pattern again with a fabric with more drape to see how it alters the fit.

It looks so pretty on you. Good job on your first pullover. It is always good to make the same pattern a few times if you liked the first garment because you will know some of the tweaking that you need to make on additional garments.
