I know exactly what you mean about the length and leg shape. There are two lengths I can wear and other lengths just don't work with my legs. I have this pattern and your nicely sewn skirt reminds me it might be one I want to sew soon.

I wanted to buy this pattern at the last Simplicity sale. The only reason I didn't was because every one of them were gone! What a fantastic pattern to use narrower pieces of fabric. Such a smart thing to do with adding the band. So nice to be able to tweak things to make them more flattering. Very nice review. Now, I will HAVE to buy this pattern!
