Skymom said... How cute! She looks great in her romper. My kids were small babies--just over 6 lbs., and even though not preemies, they were much too small for the 0-3mos. size RTW clothes. Wish I'd thought to make them a few mini things for those first months. Little babies look so cute when they aren't totally swimming in their clothes. 2/17/04 3:20 PM
JDpenelope said... Beautiful, such nice touches; fabric looks soft and comfy. You must be good at time management and also concentration (!) to make this lovely layette with a preemie to care for. Still, they do sleep, don't they? 2/17/04 5:57 PM

Hilary said... Thank you all for such nice comments! Sammie, I know how you feel~she is my first girl after 3 boys in a row! Lou, its always encouraging to 'meet' other preemies who are doing well! thanks! I can't wait to see what you make for your baby :o) 2/18/04 7:55 AM
eodwif said... They are so beautiful!!! Way cuter than any RTW I've seen. How much preemie was your baby? My baby girl was 7.5 weeks and she's doing awesome.
How do you have time to make such precious things?
BTW, great review, too :) 2/18/04 10:26 AM

Simple Mom said... Hilary-What a darling little Angel baby! It ws fun for me to read your review. When I opened the picture my first thought was, Preemie. It is funny how those cute little preemie heads give them away! Our NICU nurse said they are toaster heads. I have a definate affection for them. My last baby was born as a result of my water breaking at 28 weeks. I am currently in my 19 week with another boy, placenta previa that we are hoping will self resolve, and rooting for a term delivery. Darling pattern! I'll look for it this week. I want to make little knit pants too. Thank you for sharing your talent and your sweet baby! 9/26/04 1:02 PM
