Marec wrote what I was going to say! So I second her and go on: I would never have thought to use silk velvet for a top with gathers under the bust, but it doesn't look at all bunch-y; very svelte in fact. You look wonderful!

Your silk velvet burnout looks gorgeous made up into this top. So pretty how the colors change from top to bottom and your use of contrast shade on the belt. Lovely work.
