I just had this pattern out last night trying to find a non-directional print to make it out of. You have shown me that it can be made of a velour, which I just happen to have tons of. I think that this is flattering on all body types. Those with narrow shoulders should stay away from a saddle shoulder style, but I think raglan is very flattering. You look great.

Beautiful top--looks lovely on you! I LOVE cowl necks! (By the way, and I'm just blurting this out--you look so much like a young Annette Bening--and she looks wonderful at any age!)

You have sewn a beautiful top. The fabric, print, color and fit...all look great on you. I agree that the cowl neck is so much more comfortable to wear and indeed more elegant. I'm going to check my patterns for something like this to make soon....should be one in there somewhere.

I love raglan sleeves **precisely** because I have small shoulders! Naturally, I have this pattern in my collection and I plan to try it soon.
