The color and the corduroy are perfect together, as is that bright cheerful lining. I really like your new jacket. I looked at the pattern and may do it it up as activewear in the spring. Right now I think I'm done with my own sewing and moving onto doggie coats and husband shirts.

What a lovely jacket! beautifully made and in that great purple colour that's so IN this season. And the contrast lining is fabulous.

Your jacket is stunning. I love the navy lining contrast with the plum corduroy. I haven't yet made a jacket with this collar style and after your review, this just may be the pattern I use. Great jacket! You've convinced me to pull out my corduroy pieces and make one. The raised waistline works for me. I have been hesitant with the gathered collar look, but yours turned out beautifully...so I might try it.

Love the plum corduroy. I always think the fabric choice really makes the pattern shine, and your choice totally does.
