very impressive work - sew the coat, add the pockets, is a standard burda instruction and it's completely nuts! I made the mistake of doing it and it is every bit as awkward as you predicted!

Fabulous parka. I love that fabric. Smart move by you to make this pattern up in a muslin first. That is almost a neccessity with some of the Burda patterns due to the lack of instruction!
