oh I totally love your version, that fabric is just gorgeous! I've been thinking about this pattern for a while now - the cardy is such a useful thing to have but there are so few patterns out there - the kwik sew one does not inspire confidence on the styling front - but your version is very fresh!

Thanks for this review! It is timely for me because I just bought a few Kwik Sew patterns, and this is one of them. The cover photos on Kwik Sew usually aren't very exciting, but the drafting and instructions can be just great. Very nice sweater on you!

I had forgotten I intended to add this pattern to my collection until your review. I had stopped buying patterns since I am not sewing presently but couldn't resist this one any longer. Your fabric is wonderful and I love the 3/4 sleeve version. Since I am petite often purchased sweaters have sleeves that are too long and are hard to shorten. Our climate is mild so I could use this in my wardrobe.
