That looks great. I bought corduroy for slacks,and have yet to make. I am also in the Chicagoland area, but am gaining winter weight rapidly as it gets colder. I will just go for it now I see you can dart it easily. But I need way more layers than you. Does corduroy sort of lose its shape? The pants I make will have a back zipper, but I should make a fly zipper. It is reslly cold out there. I hope tomorrow when you wear it, you'll be warm enough. I was on the el Sunday, and it was so cold! Even with long underwear. Why I didn't drive is the excessive parking fees vs free CTA. Stay warm. How about those Bears? They nailed a game by a hair!

I would never have thought to do this style dress in cord - it looks fantastic. I love corduroy - perfect for those colder months.
