I just made this blouse (review to come) and I also noticed the armband was way too tight. I took a 3/8" seam but that still wasn't enough. (Are my arms really that fat? I didn't think so!) I am surprised, though, to see that your sleeve cap doesn't have much gathering while mine has plenty. Maybe it is the fabric - you used a soft, silky charmeuse and I used a light, crisp cotton. I had plenty of gathering both at the shoulders and the cuffs. Nice blouse, amazing how it can look so different depending on the choice of fabrics!
