Rhonda Noah said... I haven't sewn this pattern but I have sewn the 3120 several times and have no bunching of excess fabric under the arms. I'm wondering if this pattern either has too much length for the raglan sleeve (similar to having a too deep armscye) or if maybe you need a bit more room in the bust after all. If you have some cheap or leftover fabric, you might cut out a short sleeve and upper torso making one of these changes and see hwo the fit changes for you. Or just try the 3120 and see how it fits. If it has the same issues you probably need to make adjustments on all your KS tops in the future. Otherwise, you'll know it was just the 2874. Gosh, hope this made sense. Early, no tea yet..... yawn... 3/4/04 2:20 AM

Asa Hagstrom said... Good morning Rhonda, and thanks for your suggestions! I think a big reason for the fabric bunching is that the upper sleeves are very wide. I'll make sure to report on the differences with 3120. 3/4/04 3:18 AM
