I've read through the directions a couple of times and agree that they seem a mite confusing. Before reading your review I'd considered doing a "muslin" of the neckline and hand basting to get it right. (worth it to me if the results are good and I'll make it again) Now I'll do that for sure.
I'd love to learn from your experience so am wondering, is there any particular point in the directions where you think they are wrong or are missing necessary info? (or is it all a blur now?)
At least from the photos I think your garment is a keeper, not a tosser . . . .

It was my first venture into a knit fabric after a gap of 15 years and it has nearly put me off. I'll wear it, probably to do the cleaning in, but I don't like it.
