emclaus, this is a wonderful idea to make this jacket out of windblock! I have had some aging in my stash forever while I tried to find a suitable pattern. Would I need to include vents or pit zips since windblock doesn't breathe much?

Brine - I didn't put in pit zips and I don't miss them. But it has been really cold here in MI. I had this windblock in my stash FOR YEARS that I wasn't sure what to do with until I saw this pattern.

A beautifully made jacket and great use of reversable fabric.
