Lou. said... You beat me to the review! I've been making the Tiny Poopockets that are for 4-10lbs, and I love this pattern, it's much easier then the other patterns I've tried. Your diapers look very cute! 3/8/04 3:24 PM

I found that as my daughter has grown older, she has slimmed out around the waist and gotten longer, so diapers which were getting snug or that she even outgrew can now fit her again. She is 21 months old. 3/8/04 5:18 PM

Hilary said... I also have this pattern. I used it for a while and made up a bunch without the velcro. I liked them a lot and found the fit to be fine, up to when my son was two and a half. They get skinnier in the waist as they grow taller so altho they definately got smaller looking they still fit. But again I didn't use the velcro. If they are folded down they will fit a much smaller baby, but to me they do seem wide in the crotch area, and hard to fit my very small daughter. Your diapers look beautiful , even if you didn't like the pattern tho! I used fashion flannel on my ds's and they wore out very quickly, imo, especially at the gussets where the elastic casing is. With my new baby I am using Kwik Sew's diaper pattern and real"diaper" flannel(as opposed to regular or even "super" flannel, which isn't any more durable than regular I found.) .The picture on the pattern is NOT good, they look much better made up than the drawings would indicate. And I like the fit better than poo pockets, plus they have directions for velcro closures which are far easier than pins to use to me. However if you don't like to mess with the velcro, poo pockets are very quickto make! (btw, I was going to review this too, but I fear my stash won't look as nice as yours came out ;o) Lou, I bet the little ones are super cute! (show us some compared to the bigger Kwik sews you made, if you can! 3/10/04 10:49 AM
