I did make the crinoline from silk and *ahem* mosquito netting I had lying around. http://www.blogforbettersewing.com/2009/12/layer-cake-crinoline-multimedia.html That's Gertie's tutorial that got me inspired to just go ahead and make the thing. I have one more layer of netting than hers, and I may very well go ahead and put a few more. I want bigger. And I trimmed the bottom with nylon lace for prettiness factor. 1/22/10 5:04 PM
