Splendid job on the pattern matching. It looks very smart!

I love what you have done here, and was myself thinking of button options rather than a tie. I am glad it is designed to take such a variety of fabrics and is so simple to sew- about to make this in a wool melton fabric when it arrives in the mail!

Nice smart coat, and a good use of this wool.

Agree with lamstu - the button was an excellent decision. Beautiful coat and great review. Thanks!

Looks like a great coat. How unusual to see this style in plaid. The button looks good here; ties would have been too much with the plaid I think.

Thanks for the review of this style, it looks as though its both quick to make up and a flattering shape.
