Ingenious! I'm going to try this, thank you for the great idea. Clearing out spiders is no fun and inevitably some will be missed. Good idea to protect the paddle blades, too.

GREAT! Thanks so much for sharing this original review. I did a couple of kayaking classes and loved it, but insufficient funds and time have not permitted me to do more yet.
