If I needed stretch, things would get more complicated -- maybe one of the new stretch woven linings or stretch silk blends, if I could find it in a good color, which often isn't easy. Or I might use the same nylon tricot used for separate slips. I would not cut all the gores; I might use a simple two-piece A-line shape instead. For other knits with more drape and stretch I sometimes use swimwear lining or the mesh type fabric that Emma One Sock has sometimes, but I think those would be too soft and clingy for a more fitted skirt like this. 2/11/10 11:38 AM
