Beautifule jackets yours looks better I think than EF. I am going to look into making this pattern sometime.

I am very impressed with matching KS pattern with EF jacket. Looks similar yet more imaginative and love the purple shade also.

I love all the extra details!!! I'm going look at my zipper applications for more creative opportuntities. Great RTW comparison, but yours has more pizazz!

Thanks for the comments! Being able to do a mock up of a designer line makes you glad you sew. Of course, saving money in my case is a futile mental exercise when I think of all I've 'invested'. Still, it makes you feel good at the moment. Chris K, I've been busy but don't want to mislead you. I'm not a one woman sweatshop. (I wish!) I tend to be able to get 'photo shoot' opportunities sporadically so hold reviews til that time. These jackets, for example, were sewn in Jan.

A beautiful interpretation of an excellent pattern. Those pockets make it look so much more "designer"! I have found that the real Eileen Fisher jackets do not fit women with curves very well. The KS pattern is actually more flattering, plus you can do your own thing with the details.

Rennie, just found this review and had to comment - I love what you have done. I am thinking about getting the pattern to make out of boring old fleece to cover up on the way to gym. But looks like lots of possibilities!
