I agree -- Burda's "easy" rating on this pattern is insane. I'm not a beginner, and I puzzled over the collar stand assembly for days. (I finally got it, thanks to help from someone here, and now it doesn't seem all that perplexing.) Still, it's a beautifully fitting pattern that many people have had great results from. But it's definitely NOT a beginner project.
