even with your fabric choice I think this is a cute top, do raid you fabric bins and try it again, and yes it would be good for a summer top. one that I would try if I was younger great tip for the elastic shearing,and the photos of the inside finish

Yep, make it again in a voile or similar. I adore the shoulder treatment! It would be just right for me who doesn't like her upper arms enough to go sleeveless and needs a bra! I'm wishlistin' it!
