Thanks everyone!! Cuffs, no, I have a mechanical machine and it does the blind-hem stitch in only one direction. But I expect those of you with electronic machines or more stitch options could! And, now that you mention it, I see a stretch stitch option on my machine that goes in the opposite direction, and might make a very similar scallop! So, thanks!!

Beautiful gown! Wish I had that pattern. Can't you mirror-image your blind hem stitch to make sewing the scalloped edge easier?
