Those are really cute - I'm glad you mentioned how you did the stitching around the sole - I was wondering if it was a serged seam like a rolled hem. Very cute!

I've had the same problems finding wool felt. I made some similar ones, but I substituted fleece. It worked just as well and there was no worry about raveling. Cute booties!

Thanks for the tip on using fleece. I didn't even think about it, but a lightweight fleece would be terrific for these booties and you wouldn't have to do nearly so much buttonhole stitching!
