The fabric layers separate to some extent, but they are easily shaken back into alignment. I've washed them quite a few times, and there's been no problems with them coming out of the dryer totally separated.

Geez this is so simple and looks great! I have wanted to try making similar blankets but I can see that the magic ingrediant is the spray adhesive! (Head thump) BUT what happens after you wash these blankets?? do the fabric layers seperate? Have you tried to sew some type of pattern in various ares to keep the fabric layers together?? You have given encourangement to finish a bunch of projects that I ended up shelving because I was so frustrarted with shifting fabric when I tried to sew. Thank you!

Those are great blankets! I want one too. Apparently the spray adhesive does a great job of holding the 2 layers together so you get a smooth finish. Very nice job(s).
