I had a thought about the fit- did you use your high bust measurement for the bust, or go by your full bust? With the changes you had to do, it sounds like you may have a fuller bust than the patter allows for (B-cup). If you have a fuller bust and you buy a pattern according to the full bust measure, it will be too big everywhere except your bust. Also maybe make use of the lengthen/shorten line on the patterns in the future, it helps to use those so you don't distort the design of the pattern. I could probably cut smaller sizes through the shoulders and grade out at the bust, right? Also, in this case, the lengthen/shorten lines were pretty much at the bottom of the bodice, so the petite alteration was pretty easy to do once the pattern was cut and sewn together. 2/28/10 9:45 PM
