said... Teri, sometimes 45" woven fabric can work. You can lay the pattern out with the grainline arrow pointing toward the selvages rather than going lengthwise. This gives you the option of addin width to the skirt. However, the fabric must be suitable. Don't try this if there is a nap or texture, or a design that has to be be aligned vertically.
