Karla Kizer said... Judy, those litle jeans look great. I still have the KS pattern I used for my DD when she was little. It's now OOP, but these jeans look the same. Great pattern, adorable model... and your results are perfect. 3/30/04 7:10 AM

Skymom said... I agree about the fit on little kids--I like things to be the right size when possible, or the child looks swallowed up by the clothes. These jeans are really cute...do you keep the waistband the same size and add elastic, or lengthen it?

MelissaB in WA said... Wow, those are so incredibly cute!!! I am so scared to make jeans - you're my inspriation. Maybe when I get caught up on my "to do" list, I'll tackle those. My daughter is a skinny mini, but so tall, so I'm always having trouble finding her jeans that fit - this looks like the perfect solution - thanks for sharing! :-) 3/30/04 4:55 PM
Judy Williment said... Thanks for the nice comments everyone! Skymom, all I did was put elastic in the waistband before I sewed it down. I "hid" where it was sewn to the waistband under belt loops. It didn't make it much smaller, just a bit more snug to her tummy, but with room to move. 3/30/04 7:14 PM
