I love this. Your flower is lovely. How did you make it?

Basically you get a 3 inch circle of fabric and iron it to interfacing. Then take a long strip of 2" fabric and fold it in half. Serge down one side and gather. Then stitch it onto the circle in spiral fashion until you get to the middle. I machine sewed about 80% and then handsewed the last bit and stuck a button in the middle. I thought it could use some black so I took a length of fancy ribbon (ready made - hard to describe) and hand stitched it around the outside. I do feel like it looks a little like an old fashioned place getting ribbon but it's cute. The instructions I went by were the flower from Amy Butler's Anna Tunic only I used the other side so that my ends weren't raw and hence would fray and leave long strings everywhere.

Really sweet. I love the flower detail with the button in the center. I also love the colors.
