I think it looks great and that was so kind of you to make it up for a donation. It looks like a lot of work. As you pointed out, it is a definite "look!" I was fortunate enough to attend a sewing retreat in Taos NM with Marcie Tilton and Diane Ericson a few years back. Marcie had the long sleeve jacket available for us to try on--it was made in a drapey fabric and the fit, in my opinion, was much prettier than the more stiff organza

It may not be your cup of tea, but someone else will love it. No one will have any idea what you are talking about vis-a-vis the hem. Your work is gorgeous, and I hope you enjoyed discharging the color. What an effect! The look is ethereal and magical.
