It looks way cool! Worth all your effort. I would love to see a picture on it is a very origianl pattern. The embroidery on the top what did you do for that? Very cute and great review.

You did a great job! I have a macphee top pattern designed for slinky fabrics only. She offered no suggestions as to type of needle, thread, stitch length or technique. I even bought the video for the top - well. . .she uses her serger. Go figure. But, this is about YOU and YOUR success. I hop you make another and share photos!

I bought this pattern after seeing it in a fashion show at the sewing expo. I cut out the 6 panels and am still dumbfounded as to how to pin this together. Your photo of the hem close up and comments help. Her directions are terrible! One notch and it says " sew just to the notch". nothing about what happens after that. No drawings of how you stitch the pieces together. For $8 for the pattern, really I expected better! I have to finish this for my granddaughter for Christmas and didn't think it would take this long.
