minieme said... Thanks for the comments everyone! Linda, I've discovered this store near me called Make It Fabric, for people who lives in Brisbane,(Australia) there's 3 branches. They have all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff, especially if you need to make costumes, also tonnes of laces and elastics. To me it's like going to Disneyland! It's a bargain shop you do have to wade through stuff to chance find something. I found the mauve coloured knit fabric from there too. (see my review on KS 3032 for photo)
Hilary, the way I raised the neckline was basic, I just increase the neckline by 1 cm all around on the pattern for the front, also increase the back neck at the shoulder by 1cm each side, so the neckline wont be too wide to show the bra straps. 4/3/04 8:42 AM

Oopsy-Daisy! said... Love the waist sash! What are its dimensions? 4/11/04 10:06 AM
minieme said... Hi Oopsy! The band actually sits just on the hips, it's 2 inches wide, and just leave it a bit longer than the circumference of the bottom of the bodice for the tie as much as you like. I saw this sash thingy on a lot of the RTW these days, so I'm one fashionable chick LOL! 4/11/04 6:22 PM
