I am going to be doing up a kirtle using a bodice + skirt pattern and am wondering about attaching the skirt to the bodice. And I still need to type up my tips and tricks for putting in eyelets ...

Ah, I have always wanted a kirtle, good luck with yours! I used the instructions fom simplicity 8855 to attatch the skirt. Make skirt, gather to fit bodice length, pin/baste skirt to wrong side of bodice lining, turn bodice right side out and hand sew or topstich close to edge to close. I would love to see your eyelet tips!
