looks fantastic, & when the baby spills something on you at the shops, you can make an emergency pit stop to reverse your skirt & hide the damage - absolutely brilliant thinking! I totally agree with your comment on the speed of shirring - what a drag, but so worth it when you end up with such a great result. very well done & great review! (& I wish I looked that good pregnant!!)

I completely agree with your assessment of the shirring process. Too labor-intensive to use in anything but a fabric you love and plan to continue loving for a while--and in this case, the shirred section does make your adorable skirt wearable now and later, so consider it twice as much wear for the amount of time spent sewing!
