Thanks for the review, Julia. I have this pattern, but have been hesitant to make it, noticing the depth of the wrap front. Your idea of sewing it closed is a good one, and appears to have solved the problem of "overexposure". Very helpful.

This pattern keeps calling to me. I wish I had your tiny shape for it. It looks super on you. Great idea about the tape in the neckline.

Very pretty and unique. You should try Vogue 7647, it's got similar lines but a different waist and neck that I think you could really pull off.

Your dress is the best fitting version of this pattern that I have seen. This is not a style for everyone, but when it works it is terrific.
