Nicely done and the leg elastic is interesting. I don't have this particular pattern but maybe I'll try adding leg casings on another. I agree with you about the drawstring plus elastic waist -- overkill!

Your pants look really comfortable. I have a similar pattern that I hadn't even thought about making. I'll have to try them maybe in some of the fabric I've had forever.
