Thanks for the review. I need a new cosmetics bag and this might fit the bill.

Very pretty and practical! Much nicer than a RTW version!

You did a beautiful job and I like all of your comments in the review. I have this pattern and want to sew it. Thinking maybe of sewing a small one for a coin purse and adding a clear plastic pocket in the front for driver's license.. I made one which I use all of the time from notes on the internet. But the zipper application is sloppy. Glad to know that you liked the zipper instructions. I also like it that the raw edge doesn't show in the lining, as Patzee mentioned.

Nope, no raw edges. The bottom of the lining is where it's turned and it's then sewn together.

Are any raw edges of the lining showing? Many of these patterns leave the raw edge of the lining showing at the bottom of the bag.

Really cute. My first thought was "Vera Bradley" and, sure enough, that's what you used. I hadn't realized that you could buy VB fabric, so now I'll have to look for some. The boxed corners are a good idea.
