Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera to take a photo of my project. The only way I could get this to work was by linking to the pattern photo. Sorry.

Sounds like a nice bag. I have this book on CD, but haven't made anything from it yet; as I recall, there are a lot of totes and larger bags. (I prefer smaller ones, but may make a beach bag for dgd's upcoming trip to Hawaii.) Your straps sound interesting--I haven't heard of suede lace--did you get that at Joann's, too. ?

Penelope, I got the "suede lace" at Joann's. It wasn't called suede lace, but it is thin strips of suede or maybe it is leather. It was in with trims.
