I forgot to mention another detail that I think helps with Loes Hinse patterns in general. I often use Seams Great (it's a commercial seam binding product) on seams and edges, especially with high-ravel material. On this dress I used it on the neckline edge, the sleeve hems and the bottom hem. I attach it with the zig-zag feature of my machine and it is very easy and quick.
