The dress looks so swishy! I wish I could pull off a dress like this like Cathy can. She looks fabulous! And the photo shoot was great. :)

I thought that was slightly retro. What a neat style. You know, if Cathy is my size maybe you should send the dresses my way after the photo shots.

Wondrous! Reminds me of ... But they're cousins, Identical cousins all the way. One pair of matching bookends, Different as night and day...

Thanks for this review! What a coincidence, I just made Vogue 1118 which is very similar, but it's intriguing to see the slight differences -- mine doesn't have the back neckband (which might help the raised neckline stay up better) and its tie ends extend around the back inside the dress. LOVE Cathy's photo shoot, as always! I think it looks great in this crepe, very 70s.

The photo shoots tell a more arresting and complex story each time.

That should be Selfless Seamstress. What a wonderful gift. It must be Cathy's most elegant dress yet.

OMG that was my bridesmaid dresses that I made when I got married back in 1975 to my first husband! Love that style of dress even to this day!

How creatively imaginative you (and Cathy) are! I so envy you living next to the NYC garment district. I remember when Boston used to have a small fabric/garment district that shrunk to nothing, now I live in Colorado where I need to use mail order for any fabric of quality.

The Selfish Seamstress knows her stuff - the pattern and dress suit Cathy to a T! Love the photoshoot. Off to check out the blog(s)...
