Jennifer: good review. The sewing instructions on the big 4 companies that I've looked at lately seem to be really thin on correct sewing techniques. I have no idea Why they do this except it really allows your review to shine with helpful info so maybe it's a good thing!

Thanks for reviewing this. It looks a really good pattern for palazzo pants, and the style is probably the best ever invented for full-figured women. Side seam pockets do add bulk, and sometimes patch pockets can be a good alternative if you are making pants for caual wear.

Jennifer, These palazzo pants are really nice looking on you. I know what you mean about pockets adding bulk to the hip area. Whenever I make a knit pair of pants I always cut the front pocket out of venice -- a very stable light weight nylon (I think). It reduces the bulk considerably. See if that will help your next pair. Great job on the pants!
