This dress is so pretty, I am in love with the fabric and contrasting silk. Beautiful job!

Gorgeous! I've got this pattern in the same size as you laying on my cutout table right now. Thought I'd read reviews before cutting. My fabric is a b/w abstract print linen and now I want to make my bindings/belt a solid black. I'm also folding the belt in half. Just too wide for my short frame. Glad I checked here. I agree with the shorter length. It'll balance out the bazooms that you and I both have been blessed with, ahem! lol

Thanks for your comments! I did consider making it shorter, but I didn't want to give up the fullness at the hemline (love LOTS of fabric in my skirts, y'know!) But I've yet to wear it much, so I may change the length....

Beautiful couture methods, a sheer delight to see! The whole dress is gorgeously constructed!

Very pretty. Did you consider making it a little shorter? I think it would look even nicer on you if about 2" shorter.

It has a pretty Old World look to it--Maybe it's the ribbon. Very lovely.

I love this dress, with the beautiful print and raw silk binding.

Your dress looks wonderful on you, do you still have the linen to make it up again?!
