Why are they called rash guard when my DGS3 wears them to prevent sunburn?

Rash Guards! Wow. That's a great idea. I have one that's slightly too small and has a neckline that's a little too high. Hope you don't mind if I steal your idea! Thanks!

Great job. I had the same problem finding a pattern so I used Kwik sew 2881. It's for men but I made it for me.
