This looks darling. I considered the pattern envelope to be something too twee for a fortysomething woman but yours has changed my mind. Nicely done!

Hey Jane, I posted this dress on the same day. It called to me because of the unique neckline. You're right, there is a lot of fabric for a small-chested woman, especially if you're using quilters' cotton and it doesn't drape. I like your version using more subdued colors. I need to learn that lesson to avoid looking like I'm ready to attend a child's tea party. Good fabric choices. Good fit.
