This question would probably be best answered by posting on a Pattern Review Message Board as a New Topic. That being said--check out other reviews of this skirt on the Pattern Review website. Ann Smith's review says that the pattern takes 2 yds of 50" or wider fabric. I do not know what you mean by "fabric in a reversible fashion". This skirt would look best if all the pattern pieces were laid out in the same direction in a "with nap layout". You could also contact the people that make the MacPhee Workshop patterns. They are very helpful on the phone. They also sell beautiful slinky. Hope this helps.
