Georgene said... Wow Iris, that is a spectacular rendition of that pattern! I had looked at it several times, but never thought of attempting it. The idea of making it a dressing gown is very good. If only I had the chaise longue to go with it! 5/8/04 2:21 PM

I love, love, love this pattern. You did a beautiful job. Thank you for sharing the review and the picture 5/9/04 8:18 AM

Jan B. said... Wow--terrific!! If you've got misaligned front hooks, it certainly doesn't show. I'm sure you look outstanding in it with your coloring and eyes. 5/10/04 7:10 PM
Iris Colo said... The "misalignment" is probably no more than 1/16" of an inch and only in one little section. I tend to be very critical of my sewing. Thank you all very much for you glowing comments and praise. My next venture will probably be the spectacular red late-victorian dress in my photo album. 5/14/04 7:56 AM

Thank you for inspiration. 9/11/06 3:31 PM
Fabienne301 said... Spectacular. I wish you could make something like this in a heavier fabric so you can actually keep warm in it, but the pattern back says,"dupioni, brocade, etc." so I believe that if I want to make this, I should (if I value my sanity) do as they say.
It is just gorgeous. 7/9/08 11:44 AM
Sara The Slayer said... I'm dying to make this now! How was sizing? Does it fit big - they sell it as 6-8-10 or 12-14-16, I usually am between 10 and 12, 10 on top and 12 below. But things end up big, I'm thinking buy the smaller one??? I can't figure out how to write you a message! 9/26/09 7:04 AM
