Gina, your panties look very professional. In RTW they have special machines to do what they want and we have to interpret a way do do it on the machines we have and make it look good. You have done a great job of doing that.

Gina, you did a great job. Who cares if you used "proper" techniques, as long as it works. I have really got to try this pattern. I have some $1 a yd Walmart knit. I had no idea what to do with it. Thanks for all the info, and pictures, on the elastic. Really helps alot.

Gina, I think your panties look very RTW. I love the enclosed elastic on the legs. I hate elastic touching me. I may have to give these a try. Thanks for the review!

Very nice!! I love that elastic you used in the waistband, it looks so pretty and comfy! I also have a problem w/ lace at the waist- they don't even make it thru one wearing before I rip it to shreds :o( Oh well yours look a whole lot more comfortable anyway. Thanks for the review!

Nice job, Gina. These are my favorite style, with the seam up the center back. I buy them in RTW, because the CB seam eliminates "diaper sag" in the back. I have this pattern, which I'm still working on the sizing ;-)

I think I will have to get that pattern as it is so different from the ones I have. Your sewing here looks fantastic. Thanks for all the info.

Gina, I've used this pattern for several years, and I love the style too. I chose it because it's identical to some very expensive RTW undies I bought (at TJ Maxx, for much less), so now every time I make a pair, I think "Oh, I just saved about $12!" Also, "Granny Panty" look aside, these are actually great under a slinky skirt, because they have no side seams, and the CB seam doesn't ever show; and having the waist actually come up to the waist is a good thing for avoiding VPL under clingy clothes.

Oh, I sing praises to the granny panty. Still having all this soft fat left from the last baby has made bikinis a no-no. Thanks for reviewing the pattern... P.S. Your sewing makes me wanna try harder. :) Beautiful!
