I just bought this and then found you! Looks great. I am going to give it a shot. Looks like you would get a ton of wear out of this. Solid black is always a nice choice.

I don't agree that it makes you look wide, I think it looks awesome on you! Steph is right though, you'd look great in a potato sack! :D It does look like a good basic skirt, and I love that you have pockets! I want a skirt with pockets! *steals pattern choice*

Cute piece, great to have those go-to basics. Don't even worry about the proportions. I think you could cut a neck-hole in a sack and still look like a million bucks.
