Nice bag! Just now seeing your review. I am going to order this pattern just for the gusseted zipper instructions. Thanks for info about the size -- I will probably see if I can make it bigger. Will also see if I can made the gusseted zipper work with a drop in lining. This beginner's pattern might not even have a lining, but I can add one, as well as an outside and inside pocket or two, as you have done.
