I recently made the same bag with the same fabric! I like it very much but felt that the outside and inside pockets could use some interfacing. I agree, a clever zipper insertion!

Very nice bag and the pattern looks great. Yes, I always interface the pockets, too. Thanks for the review. I'm always looking for new ideas for zipper insertion--I prefer a zippered closure. Your fabric choices are great, too.

Have made 2 of them, and now my friends want to make them too! Directions are clear and complete. Ilove this pattern.

I've made this bag twice... love it! But I use "Soft and Stable" by Anne for the interfacing, it does amazing things for purse construction!
