Thanks for the review. I'm planning to make this skirt this summer, so its really helpful to see it made. I like the crinkle cotton - the different grainlines make it look like its different fabric, and it adds to the sense of movement in the skirt.

Your skirt looks beautiful. I would have definitely chosen that same fabric as it looks so similar to the one on the pattern envelope. I am on here trying to find some fabric ideas for this. So glad I read your review. I'll try to avoid the crinkle cotton now.

I am going to give the skirt a go and as I am 5'10", maybe it will be ok. So many skirts are too short and sometimes it is difficult to lengthen.

The skirt looks really pretty. Maybe if you let it set for a while it will grow on you.
